Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community

Careers Guidance

A detailed an highly effective careers programme runs from Years 7 to 11. It includes a series of whole-day 'Aspiration' events offered with the help of external providers. The school benefits form strong links with local charities and key sponsors. Disadvantaged pupils take part in innovative initiatives aimed at raising aspirations. As well as visiting universities, pupils have the chance to work with high-profile companies.

Ofsted, 2018

Choosing a direction in life can be one of the most challenging and confusing things we can do at any age! However there is a pressure placed upon young people, throughout their Secondary education, to have an idea of where they want to go with their future based on the subject choices they make. We want to relieve some of that pressure on our students by helping them to feel empowered and informed about their options for the future.

Throughout their time with us, we ensure that students receive support and guidance with a comprehensive and varied Careers Education.
