Subject Intent

Studying Drama at Oasis Academy Brislington intends to provide students with the opportunities to gain knowledge of and act upon the best of what has been thought and said. 

The Curriculum has been expertly planned to holistically intertwine the cultural capital needed to be successful in literature, language, history, art, construction with drama studies. Our curriculum focuses on robust technical instruction as well as challenging our pupils to be confident, dynamic global citizens.  We aim to provide them with knowledge which can be immediately applied to practical skills as well as cultural, social and historical empathy.

Ultimately, it has been designed to inspire and motivate pupils to appreciate themselves and others in a multicultural society leading them to be confident, successful and kind human beings.
