Pupils in Years 7-9 are being offered the free flu vaccine this winter.
Sirona Care & Health’s Immunisation Team will be visiting secondary schools from December to administer the nasal spray.
The UK Health Security Agency is urging everyone eligible for a free flu vaccine to take up the offer due to an expected increase in respiratory viruses this winter.
Schools will be emailing consent forms out to parents who are encouraged to fill them in as soon as possible.
