Students at Oasis Academy Brislington celebrate and are ready for their next steps after achieving some great GCSE results
The wait for GCSE results is over as Year 11 Oasis Academy Brislington students returned to school today to receive their GCSE results – and it was a morning of celebration, smiles, and new beginnings.
This year, students have not only achieved excellent grades but have also shown resilience, determination, and a commitment to their futures. These achievements reflect the way Oasis Academy Brislington supports every part of a young person’s development, not just helping them succeed academically, but also building their confidence, character, and life skills.
Students at the academy are offered a wide range of opportunities both in and out of the classroom, and they’re surrounded by staff who know them, believe in them, and work with them to overcome challenges.
Among the high achievers was Kacper, who secured a grade 9 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science as well as grade 8’s in English Literature, English Language and Geography putting him amongst some of the top performers in the country. He will be going on to study A-Levels at St Mary Redcliffe and Temple Sixth Form. Kacper said: “If you work hard and put your mind to something you can achieve anything.”
Alexa K also performed brilliantly, achieving 5 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s and 3 grade 7s, and will now be pursuing their dream of by taking a prestigious place at Clifton College to study Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. Alexa said “I’m really happy about my results and excited for the next steps”.

- Adam – four grade 9s, three grade 8s and three grade 7s. He’s off to study ALevels at St Mary Redcliffe and Temple Sixth Form.
- Nathan achieved grade 9s, one grade 8 and 7 and three grade 6s. Nathan will be going to study Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science at St Brendans College & Sixth Form.
- Ariel – five grade 9s, two grade 7s and two grade 6s. Ariel is also off to St Brendans College & Sixth Form to study ALevels in Biology, Chemistry and Fine Art.
- Bo – one grade 8, six grade 7s and two grade 6s. Bo will be going on to study Biology, History and Classics and Clifton High School.
- Frederick – three grade 7s, two grade 6s and one grade 5. Frederick will be going on to study Law, Business and Politics at St Brendans College & Sixth Form.
- Rachele – seven grade 9s, one grade 8, two grade 7s.
- Ayaan – four grade 9s, four grade 8s, two grade 7s.
- Alexander – two grade 9s, three grade 8s, two grade 7s, two grade 6s.
- Eloise – four grade 9s, four grade 8s, one grade 7 and one grade 6.
- James – three grade 9s, five grade 8s, and two grade 7s.
